On Sunday we studied Luke 14:25-35. We talked about what a true disciple is and had only a couple who were willing to commit to becomming that (a disciple). Why do you think so few were willing to make the commitment Christ asks us to?

teens are too concerned about what others think of them
teens are too selfish and want to do life their own way
teens only want salvation and their prayers answered, but no commitment
teens are terrified of what following God fully might entail
the lesson was heavy and most were still processing all that was said
