Upon learning of pet abuse cases on Facebook requiring action, I:

Pray that conditions improve for the pet.
Hope others will speak out for the victim(s) & turn away.
"Like" & share the case but can't be proactive. Life's too busy.
Choose my battles wisely and pitch in every so often.
Speak out for the victim(s) via calls, emails, faxes, petitions, etc.
Get too outraged! It's better for all that I quietly watch from a distance.
