Given the excitement of the past 24 hours, and my thoughts that if everyone you interact with is being a bastard, then at some point the odds would suggest that you are the bastard, I thought I should seek feedback on appropriate responses to at least one sticky situation. It is hoped this will help me develop my 'interpersonal skills'. So Question 1, when riding along the rail trail with daughter and you are confronted by a pair of aggressive bike riders who swear at you, refuse to slow down, and ride past two abreast should you....?

A. Hop off your pony, hand the reins to your daughter, and start running towards them while they approach you at speed waving your hands in the air and pretending to speak in tongues.

C. Turn your ponies/horses back in the direction you came, and head of at a cracking pace giving you time to find the perfect hiding spot to leap from the bushes when they pass, hopefully giving them a collective coronary or at least soiled bike shorts.

D. Line each of your mounts up with a bike, yell charge, start cantering and proceed to play a game of chicken.
