Dear all, PSA board wants your opinion on event organizations. In order to have better quality for the events and more convenient way of organizing them, we are asking your opinion on the following options:

Option A:

There will be a constant fee for all the events which will be used for event organization and also fund raising for PSA. (Fee: 10 $) This option will make it easier and risk-free for board members to handle the events and also funding MSU account for Nowruz Party and Global Festival. Nowruz is the biggest event we usually have throughout the year and almost all of its funding is provided from university funding agencies. As some of you may know, there is always a risk of applying for funding through university due to the regulations. Also, since reimbursements usually are received after the event, having fund in PSA account will make it more convenient.

Option B:

This option is about using a website called www.gofundme.com. We will include estimated and detailed expenses for the event and set a deadline for fundraising. You can pay online and if the raised fund reaches to the estimated amount before deadline then the event will be held. The point of this website is the money won't be withdrawn from your accounts before it reaches to the defined limit.
