Help me expand my views please Facebook friends? Imagine Sam and Pat are married with kids. Sam is a pet person. Pat is not. Sam finds a cat which is given to a child. Sam buys another cat. Pat is fine and helps feed and empty litter for cats. After a few years Sam and Pat divorce and share parenting. Sam takes the cats. Pat is happy with that and helps out with cats when needed. Sam and Pat both get new houses, new jobs and new partners. But Sam still needs help with cats several times a month due to travel and shift work. Pat no longer wants to look after cats. What do you think is the ethical answer here?
