I log the expense so I keep within my budget
I go to buy one thing and leave with a new project
I throw out the bag and receipt ASAP to hide the evidence
I reflect again how golf is relatively inexpensive by comparison
I feel giddy at my new thing knowing that it’s probably a year before I actually install it
