Yorkshire Carnival Association topped the field with 309 votes, but its 27.9% share fell well short of a majority. The Charlie Mortimer Fund and Fairfield School, Batley followed at 16.3% and 15.4%.
The top three organizations together captured 59.6% of the 1,109 votes, leaving the rest of the 22-option field to divide the remaining share. YCA led at both available checkpoints.
