The poll for Adel Imam’s biggest work swung four times before Hassan wa Morcos finally established control. Emarat Yacoubian led for much of the middle stretch, but Hassan wa Morcos retook first by day 146 and finished with 60.8%.

Its final advantage was 382 votes over Emarat Yacoubian. The gender split also favored the winner’s broader coalition: 46 women backed Hassan wa Morcos, compared with 10 for Emarat Yacoubian.
