Search for Miss United Nations never handed anyone a majority. Mayumi Mendoza Necesito topped the field with 759 votes — just 27.1% of 2,800, in a 12-way race where the runner-up (22%) and third place (14.5%) stayed close enough to keep every day's count a real contest.
The sharper story is who showed up for whom. Necesito's ballot ran 55% male, while second-place finisher Ma. Robie Nibut Legayada pulled 34% male — the largest gender gap between the top two finishers. Add Xin Shyne Doctor Sison's 38% male share in third, and the top three were decided by three visibly different rooms of voters.
