In a Facebook poll of 3,275 respondents, 94.2% chose “نعم”. How we count
This wasn't close from the first vote to the last. Across 36 days and 3,275 ballots, "نعم" held the same roughly 94-95% share on day one that it held on day thirty-six — a margin so wide that "لا" never cracked 6% of the total. 3,084 votes to 191: not a lead, a landslide that set on day one and stayed set.
The support was overwhelmingly Egyptian and overwhelmingly male: Egypt alone cast 1,579 votes, with Saudi Arabia, Morocco and eight other countries all leaning the same way. Men backed "نعم" over "لا" by roughly 16 to 1, and even among the small "لا" camp, men still outnumbered women 6 to 1 — this was a one-sided call answered by a one-sided crowd.
- Final margin · نعم wins 94.2% to 5.8% — a 16-to-1 blowout
- Set on day one · Lead never moved: 95% day 1, 94% every day after
- Egypt's poll · 1,579 of 3,275 votes came from Egypt alone
- Gender skew · Men outvoted women roughly 6-to-1 on both sides
