Dear Jack's 'Il mondo esplode tranne noi' pulled 381 women to just 31 men — a voter base that was 92% female, the most lopsided split of any finisher. Nek's 'Fatti avanti amore' also skewed female (338 to 161), but far less sharply: nearly one in three of his voters was male, four times Dear Jack's share.

That gender gap sits underneath real chaos at the top: the lead changed hands three times — Moreno to Nek, Nek to Dear Jack, then back to Nek by day 4 — before settling into a plurality, not a mandate. Nek closed with just 19.7% of 2,602 votes, barely four points clear of Dear Jack across a 20-song field.

• Gender split · Dear Jack's crowd was 92% female; Nek's only 68%.
• Three lead changes · Moreno, Nek, Dear Jack, then Nek again — all by day 4.
• Plurality, not mandate · Winner took just 19.7% of votes across 20 songs.
• Outside Italy · France broke for Lara Fabian, Germany for Il volo.
