Quais bandas você quer ver no Viana Rock Festival? (as 8 mais votadas sobem ao palco)
by Bandejão Rádio Universitária
In a Facebook poll of 2,739 respondents, 10.4% chose “I Killing Myself – Além da escuridão.”. How we count
Forty-one songs competed for eight stage slots, and the top of the table came down to a scrum: I Killing Myself took the win with just 10.4% of 2,739 votes, Uchats sat 18 votes behind at 9.7%, and Casatorna trailed by only 22 votes at 9.6%. Nobody built a mandate — the crowd splintered across dozens of acts, and 8 votes out of 10 went somewhere other than the winner.
Geography decided it. Brazil cast 1,661 votes and tilted hard for I Killing Myself, handing it the overall win. The United States voted almost as heavily (403 votes) for a different band entirely — Casatorna, the act that finished third worldwide. Strip out Brazil's weight and the podium looks completely different, which is the real story: this wasn't one fanbase winning, it was one country's turnout deciding a photo finish.
- Top 3 photo finish · 284, 266, and 262 votes — 22 votes separate 1st from 3rd
- Winner's low ceiling · I Killing Myself won with just 10.4% of all votes cast
- Brazil vs. US split · Brazil backs the winner; the US instead favors third-place Casatorna
