From day one, "My grandfather loved fuddi.." grabbed a quarter of the vote and never let go — not once challenged across 448 days of voting. "Hadh ho gayi bancho.." chased hard the entire way, closing to within a point or two late, but the gap never actually flipped.
The real split wasn't the winner — it was geography. Pakistan and India (2,051 combined votes) both broke for the grandfather line, while the US, Canada, Japan and the UAE all leaned toward "Hadh ho gayi bancho.." instead — a clean regional divide running the length of the poll.
- No turning point · One option led wire-to-wire across all 448 days, zero lead changes.
- Slow late slide · Winner's lead slipped from 27% to 25% margin after day 350.
- Country divide · Pakistan/India favored the winner; US, Canada, Japan favored the runner-up.
