Would parents/kids rather have a standard, reusable (wash and return) jersey each season OR pay each year for a "custom" uniform that the kids can keep?

Would parents/kids rather have a standard (set colors/"Buchanan" on the front instead of team name) reusable (wash and return) jersey each season OR pay each year for a "custom" uniform that the kids can keep? The average cost of a full uniform for baseball/softball ranges from $25- $65 depending on which options are chosen.
