Los Angeles took the top spot with 30.6% of 3,917 votes — a clear plurality, but nearly seven in ten voters wanted a different street entirely. It's a win built on being everyone's top pick more than anyone else, not a runaway consensus.
Behind LA, the real fight was for second: Miami's 926 votes edged New York's 895 by a margin of just 31, a virtual coin flip. Meanwhile the international field — Istanbul, Cairo, Melbourne, Geneva, Johannesburg, Guangzhou — combined for barely 12% of all votes, against five U.S. cities pulling in 88%.
