In a Facebook poll of 5,499 respondents, 29.1% chose “Top speed”. How we count
Horsepower voters owned this poll outright at the start, claiming the entire vote on day 1 and still clinging to a 50% edge on day 2. Then day 3 flipped it: top speed surged into the lead and never let go, closing the week 40% ahead and finishing at 29.1% while horsepower cratered to just 14.3%, a distant fourth place.
The real fight was for second: quarter mile time (26.1%) and 0-60 time (24.9%) both chased top speed to the wire, separated by mere points. Engine size and looks fast never contended, ending at 3.7% and 1.8%. Geography hinted at a split too — European voters in Slovakia and Sweden favored 0-60 time, while the lone US vote went for looks fast.
