Carbon Fiber never trailed. From the earliest votes to the final tally it held the lead outright, closing at 44.4% (2,990 votes) — more than Aluminium, Steel, and every other option combined. No rival ever mounted a real challenge; this wasn't a photo finish, it was a runaway.

The fight for silver is where it gets strange: a joke entry, "Car Town Pixels!", pulled 10.4% (697 votes) — enough to beat three legitimate materials, Wood (6.4%), Polyurethane (5.8%), and Fiberglass (5.5%). Aluminium (16.3%) and Steel (11.2%) held the real podium, but pixels outvoting wood is the poll's true upset.
