Amphicar grabbed the day's very first votes, sitting at 100% before the field caught up. It never held on: by the close of a single frantic day, Ford GPA (31.7%) and JMC BY5020TSL (25.5%) had blown past everyone, combining for 57% of all 5,349 votes and leaving Amphicar buried in fifth at just 5.6%.
Behind the top two, Schwimmwagen settled for a distant third at 13.9%, and the rest of the field never got close. The bottom four finishers — Amphi-Ranger, Dutton Commander AmphiJeep, Gibbs Aquada, and Gibbs Humdinga — combined for just 10.5% of the vote, a long tail crushed under one day's worth of decisive momentum.
