Long Beach jumped out 100% on day one, but Indycar fans had other plans. By the finish, St. Petersburg had blown past everyone with 1,954 votes and 36.9% — nearly triple Edmonton's total and well clear of Long Beach's runner-up 23.8%.
With just one day of voting, this wasn't a slow build — it was a landslide. Sao Paulo edged into third with 732 votes, while Baltimore, Toronto, and Sonoma bunched tightly in the middle, and Edmonton trailed the pack at a distant 2.9%.
