Pioneer took 37.2% of 2,375 votes, a 15-point margin over runner-up Alpine's 22.4% — the widest gap in the field by far. Its share of the daily count never dipped below 38% or rose above 41%, holding in that narrow band from day 1 through day 7 with no rival ever closing in.
Sony held third at 20.2%, and the remaining five brands split the last fifth of the vote, with Namsung America Inc closing out the field at just 1.2%. Geography added texture: Pioneer ran strongest in the US, Brazil and the UK, while Alpine found its pockets in Canada, Hungary and Romania.
