What are your views on medicinal marijuana?

This wasn't a race. From the first vote, support for medicinal marijuana ran near-total: 3,112 of 3,184 voters — 97.7% — backed it, while "against" mustered just 54 and "undecided" only 18. Day one opened at 100% in favor, and the margin never dipped below 97% across all 77 days.

The consensus held across every slice of the crowd. Men and women both landed overwhelmingly in favor (1,920 men, 1,145 women), and it wasn't a local echo chamber: South Africa supplied the bulk of votes (1,103), but the UK, US, Namibia, Australia and eight more countries all leaned the same way — with not a single one favoring the opposition.

• Global agreement · All 10 top countries, from South Africa to Kuwait, leaned identical
