Most voters buy only one or two ChapStick sticks at a time: 1,165 votes, or 73.2%. The next-biggest group, carrying as many as possible to the counter, drew just 15.1%.

Buying by the case attracted 11.7%, leaving bulk shoppers well behind the everyday two-stick majority. The leading choice held between 72% and 77% at every checkpoint.
