Rodrigo García led every checkpoint and finished with 57.6% of the vote, leaving Ricardo Burgos at 35.7% and Sergio Urra at 6.8%. No challenger ever displaced him from first place.
García’s margin was especially strong among the largest recorded audience: Chile contributed 793 votes and leaned toward him. Burgos’s recorded support was also overwhelmingly male, with 366 men versus 144 women.
