Duterte didn't just win this poll, he outvoted the other four candidates combined, almost two to one — 3,110 votes to their 1,625. That margin held steady across every one of the 50 days the poll ran, never dipping below roughly two-thirds. There's no comeback story here because nobody ever got close enough to force one.
What makes the number stranger is who cast it: of Duterte's 3,110 votes, only 20 came from people who followed his page — 99.4% were unaffiliated voters choosing him cold. That pattern repeats geographically too: he led not just in the Philippines but in every major diaspora bloc, from the US and Canada to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Romania.
- The gap · 65.7% beat the other four candidates' combined total by nearly 2 to 1
- Not a fan brigade · Just 20 of 3,110 Duterte votes came from page fans
- Borderless lead · Topped the Philippines and all nine leading diaspora countries
- Flat line, 50 days · Margin held near two-thirds every single day, no dip
