Mock Poll: If the Philippine Presidential Elections were today, who would you vote for?
In a Facebook poll of 2,412 respondents, 80.3% chose “Rodrigo Duterte”. How we count
Rodrigo Duterte took 4 in 5 votes — 1,936 of 2,412 — while Mar Roxas and Miriam Defensor Santiago fought to a near-tie for a distant second, each stuck under 8%. His floor never dropped below 80% past the opening days; nobody else combined came within 65 points of him.
The lead wasn't a fanbase effect — only 1.3% of his voters were declared fans, the thinnest ratio of any candidate with support, versus 8% for Jejomar Binay and roughly 3-4% for Roxas and Santiago. And it wasn't a hometown poll either: just 41% of all votes came from the Philippines, with the rest scattered across the US, Canada, the UAE, the UK, and seven more countries — every single one still favoring him.
- The floor · Never below 80% support after the first few days
- Thinnest fan share · Only 1.3% of his voters were declared fans, lowest of the field
- Majority from abroad · 59% of votes came from outside the Philippines, still lopsided
- Second place tie · Roxas and Santiago deadlocked near 8%, both a distant second
