The chest-clutch pose opened with an 89% share on day one and settled into the 70s for the rest of the year — never below 70%, closing at 61.4% of 4,116 votes. Everything else split the leftover crowd three ways: the second-place mono shot took 16.3%, the fisheye Osman jab and the door-peep photo each landed near 11%, all fighting for scraps behind a wall the poll never let them near.
The margin tells the real story: among voters whose gender is known, the chest-clutch pick pulled 12 men and 8 women, a mixed crowd. Its closest rival by vote share, the door-peep photo, went 0-for-3 with men — every recorded voter was a woman. Two very different audiences reaching two very different verdicts.
