Hungary cast more votes than anywhere else — 725, better than one in four ballots — and it wasn't a split decision: the country went hard for Nerea Pena (FTC). That should have been decisive. It wasn't, because Brazil (487) and Romania (180) stacked almost entirely behind Alexandra Do Nascimento (Baia Mare), enough to bury the country that showed up the most.
Pena's coalition ran heavily male (71%), while Do Nascimento's support split closer to even (53% male) — the most balanced base of the three. Marta Zderic never threatened the top two at 4.3%, but she's the only finisher women actually outvoted men for, 68 to 53.
- Hungary's bloc · 725 votes, the poll's largest country turnout, backed the runner-up
- Brazil's counterweight · 487 votes anchored the eventual winner and offset Hungary
- Gender gap · Pena's base ran 71% male vs. Do Nascimento's 53%
- Zderic's crowd · Only option where women voters outnumbered men, 68 to 53
