Hungary sent 677 votes into this poll, more than any other country — and nearly all of them went to Laszlo Nagy. It wasn't enough. Peter Angelov won 45.6% to 36.3%, built on North Macedonia's 562 votes plus a wide scatter of smaller countries. The single largest national voice in the poll backed the runner-up.
The two camps looked nothing alike. Nagy's coalition ran nearly even on gender (52% male) and pulled fans at a 22% rate — people voting for a player they actually follow. Angelov's coalition was 80% male and just 6% fans, a broad, casual crowd that outnumbered one concentrated, loyal bloc.
