Görbicz came out fastest, leading day one on the strength of a Hungarian surge. Neagu answered by day two, and the two traded the lead three separate times through day four — a genuine seesaw. Then Neagu pulled away, building a 53% share by day five and holding it to the finish.
The country split explains everything: Romania's 11,793 votes broke hard for Neagu, Hungary's 7,187 broke hard for Görbicz, and that head-to-head decided the poll almost by itself. Everyone else fought for scraps — Mørk's 4.2% was the best of the rest, with fan votes barely registering for anyone.
