Máté Lékai came out of the gate dominant, holding half the vote on day one as Hungarian ballots poured in. But the tide turned fast: by day 2, Luka Cindric had flipped the lead and never gave it back, riding a home surge from Croatia to a 46% finish over Lékai's 41.2%.
The rest of the field never got close — Arpad Sterbik's 5.7% was the best of the also-rans. Country told the real story: Croatia and Hungary each cast 3,919 votes, essentially a two-nation showdown, while Sweden's 430 votes broke almost entirely for local favorite Ludvig Hallbäck.
