Which game key do you want the most?
In a Facebook poll of 2,734 respondents, 32.2% chose “Grand Theft Auto V”. How we count
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive seized the lead on day 33 and sat there, steady near 30%, for 216 straight days — all the way to day 248. Grand Theft Auto V spent the entire middle stretch of the poll boxed out, never closing the gap. Then on day 249, with just 54 days left on the clock, GTA V finally broke through, and this time the flip held to the finish: 32.2% to 28.9%.
The comeback wasn't universal. Romania cast more votes than any other country — 227 — and stayed with Counter-Strike right through the ending. Grand Theft Auto V's title instead came from spread: Türkiye, Bulgaria, Germany, the UK and Poland all leaned its way, enough breadth to overcome Romania's biggest-bloc holdout and CS:GO's five-month occupation of first place.
- 216-Day Reign · CS:GO led essentially unchallenged from day 33 to day 248.
- Day 249 Turnaround · GTA V's decisive lead change came with only 54 days left.
- Romania Held Out · The largest voting bloc (227 votes) still backed the runner-up.
