Nord Italia didn't just win — it out-polled the next two options combined. With 2,156 votes it locked up 43.6% of the field, more than double what any single rival could muster, while the other four regions splintered the remaining 56% among themselves.

That fragmentation is the real story: Sud Italia and Centro-Nord Italia tied for a distant second at roughly 17.8% apiece, Centro Italia trailed at 14.1%, and Centro-Sud Italia managed just 6.6% — a nearly 7-to-1 gap from top to bottom in a single day of voting.
