"2-5" took this poll clean: 42.8% (1,045 votes) and a lead that sat at 43-45% over "Zero" every single day of the 22-day run, no swings, no scare. Zero came in second at 28.2%, ahead of the free-for-all option "As many as I can handle" (20.2%) and "Just one" (8.8%) trailing last.
The real story is what the options add up to: 71.8% of golfers want at least some alcohol out there, only 28.2% go dry. Women in the sample broke the other way — 56% of them picked Zero versus just 30% of men — while the U.S., which supplied nearly all the votes, kept 2-5 on top even as smaller countries like Canada, Singapore and Switzerland leaned Zero.
