Which was the best Zimmer score of 2009?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 won this Zimmer face-off, but look who showed up to vote for it: 399 men against 21 women, nearly 19 to 1. Angels & Demons and Sherlock Holmes drew far more mixed crowds, each landing near 70% male. Same composer, same year, completely different audiences at the ballot.

The race itself locked in early and stayed put: Angels & Demons led the opening week, then Call of Duty overtook it on day 7 and held that lead for 275 straight days. On day 283, one day from the finish line, Angels & Demons flickered back on top — only to lose it again immediately, closing 33.6% to 31.4%.

• One-day wobble · Angels & Demons briefly retook the lead on day 283, then lost it
