Which So. AZ Middle School should win #IMCROCKS Brass-a-Palooza?

Corona Foothills sprinted out front on day 1 but faded fast as Safford surged past on day 6. Alice Vail seized the top spot on day 9, lost it to Coatimundi on day 12, then reclaimed it two days later — and never let go, pulling away to a final 25.7% to 25% margin over 6,687 votes.

The closing stretch belonged to Alice Vail alone: its lead widened from 13% on day 14 to 26% by day 28, a steady late-poll pull-away rather than a photo finish. Women drove the top two finishers hard — Alice Vail broke 621 male to 1,086 female, Coatimundi 513 to 1,139 — while international voters from the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Sweden broke for Alice Vail even as the U.S. and Mexico leaned Coatimundi.

• Four lead changes · The top spot flipped four times before day 14 settled it.
• Late-poll surge · Alice Vail's margin over Coatimundi tripled from day 14 to day 28.
• Gender split · Both finalists drew roughly 2-to-1 female-to-male votes.
• Country divide · U.S. and Mexico leaned Coatimundi; Philippines and Bangladesh leaned Alice Vail.
