Promote this poll: Rick Kintz: Here's the scenario... You have some of the toughest teacher certification in the country, you elementary students can't read or do math up to par. This particular state's solution is to lower the standards for teacher certification. I think it's an illogical approach, it sounds like they're opening the doors to more poor teachers! Is this a valid solution in your mind?
