Bacău’s mayoral poll produced five lead changes before Romeo Stavarache finished first with 21%. Cristian Ghingheș led early, Stavarache moved ahead, Ghingheș returned, and Stavarache ultimately reclaimed the top spot.
The narrow result reflected a fragmented field: Cosmin Necula finished at 18.6%, Dragoș Ștefan at 17.4%, and Cristian Ghingheș at 15.5%. Together, the top five candidates accounted for 87.7% of votes.
