Runner-up Samriddhi Shah trailed by just 162 votes (11.7%), and the next three finishers combined for another 27%, so the win came from splitting a crowd, not commanding one.

Split by country, the picture gets sharper: Canada cast 2,346 votes — nearly half the poll — and leaned toward Samriddhi Shah, not the eventual winner. Tushar Gupta's real base was India's 1,095 votes. The biggest single bloc in the room wanted someone else, and the winner needed everywhere else to make up the gap.
