Rody Duterte seized the lead on day one at nearly 79% and never let go — 234 straight days atop a six-way field, settling at 66.3% of 5,663 votes. Miriam Defensor Santiago held a distant, steady second at 14.4%, with Bongbong Marcos, Mar Roxas, Jojo Binay, and Grace Poe bunched below 7% apiece.
The map tells the real story: Duterte won the Philippines' 3,005 votes AND every single other top country — the US, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Canada, Japan, all of it. Men backed him roughly 4-to-1 over women, but so did every other candidate's base — this wasn't a gender race, it was a landslide with no turning point at all.
- Zero lead changes · One candidate led wire-to-wire across all 234 days.
- Early surge · Duterte's lead widened from 79% to 65% by day 9, then held.
- Global sweep · Duterte topped all 10 leading countries, not just home turf.
- Distant runner-up · Santiago's steady 14.4% never threatened the lead.
