In a Facebook poll of 4,814 respondents, 17% chose “1 Ben Joseph Guevara”. How we count

Share: ···

Sixteen names split the vote so many ways that the winner needed just 17% to take it. Ben Joseph Guevara's 820 votes barely cleared Kevin Hernandez's 707, with Kate Gonzales (678) and Donna Damias (582) bunched right behind — four contenders within three points of the top spot. Nobody built a majority; someone just fragmented the least.

Italy alone cast 1,834 votes — more than a third of the entire poll — and backed Kate Gonzales, who led the standings for the first three days. The Philippines' 1,230 votes, plus edges in the US and Canada, pushed Guevara ahead by day 4 and kept him narrowly on top through the final stretch. The biggest voting bloc in the poll didn't pick the winner.

  • 17% plurality · Winner took just 17% of the vote across 16 options.
  • Italy's bloc lost · Italy cast 1,834 votes (38%) but backed runner-up Kate Gonzales.
  • Four-way logjam · Top four finishers landed within 5 points of each other.
