WILDSTYL grabbed the early lead on day 1, up 16% on DOWN TO FUNK. But the very next day the whole race flipped: KODACHROME surged past everyone and never looked back, opening a 17% gap over new runner-up BORN INTO THE ARTS.

By day 5 KODACHROME's margin hardened at 28% and stayed frozen there for the remaining nine days straight through to the close — a rare case of a poll going fully static long before voting ended. Final count: 6,648 votes, KODACHROME 27.9% to BORN INTO THE ARTS' 26.1%, with WILDSTYL fading to third at 11.6%.

• Day 2 flip · Lead changed hands once, from WILDSTYL to KODACHROME, and held.
• 9-day freeze · Gap locked at exactly 28% from day 5 through day 14.
• Gender split on WILDSTYL · WILDSTYL skewed heavily female: 506 women to 266 men.
• US dominance · 602 US votes leaned KODACHROME, the eventual winner.
