In a Facebook poll of 3,036 respondents, 35.7% chose “Janica Shane Huellas Samson”. How we count

Share: ···

Janica Shane Huellas Samson opened at half the vote and never dropped below 36% for the rest of the 14 days — a margin over 16 points clear of second place at the finish. Kim Zyra Bernardino chipped a few points off the lead early on, but the gap held steady in the high-30s for the poll's back half, never once tightening toward a real contest.

The real story is what the other 12 names couldn't do: split 3,036 votes 13 ways and still leave Samson with more than the next two combined. Her 1,085 votes came from 453 men and 370 women, and she topped the board in every major country represented, from the Philippines to the US, Saudi Arabia and Canada — only Japan and a handful of smaller pools broke her way.

  • Day-one gap · Samson started 50 points clear of second place and stayed ahead all 14 days.
  • Country sweep · Led in Philippines, US, Saudi Arabia, Canada, UAE, Hong Kong — 7 of top 10.
  • Combined field · 1,085 votes beat Bernardino and Gatchalian's totals put together.
