In a Facebook poll of 2,653 respondents, 26.9% chose “Pop Müzik”. How we count
Nothing here is a landslide. Pop Müzik topped the field at 26.9% — barely a quarter of the room — with Arabesk Müzik holding a real second at 17.9%. Six more genres, from Rock down to Metal, all cleared meaningful double-or-single-digit shares. Spread 2,653 votes across nine options and this is what you get: a plurality that never came close to a majority.
The one real fight happened almost immediately. Rock Müzik opened with a day-one lead, Arabesk Müzik overtook it by day 2, and Pop Müzik settled the question by day 4 — then held its ~27% margin over Arabesk Müzik for the next 288 days without the gap moving a point. Pop's edge also skews male (40 men to 23 women), while Arabesk draws the sharpest gender lean of any option, 34 men to just 12 women.
