Chicago and Orlando turned an 11-stop field into a photo finish. Chicago collected 369 votes and 17.2%; Orlando landed just 14 votes behind with 355 and 16.5%—a gap of only 0.7 points.
The narrow margin reflected a deeply divided ballot. Dallas, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico each exceeded 12%, while no destination reached even one-fifth of the vote.
