Manos al Aire Argentina finished on 474 votes, just two ahead of Nelly Furtado México’s 472. Their shares—22.9% and 22.8%—turned a 12-option contest into a razor-thin finish.
The narrow edge delivered only a plurality: more than three-quarters of voters chose another option. The largest identified country bloc, the United States, leaned toward México rather than the winner.
