In a Facebook poll of 2,788 respondents, 32.1% chose “9. ยำทะเลสามรส”. How we count
Thailand cast the single biggest bloc of votes in this poll — 185 of them — and leaned toward เบคอนกุ้งสด (Bacon Shrimp). So did the US, Japan, and China. But เบคอนกุ้งสด never won: ยำทะเลสามรส (Seafood Yum) took the menu spot with 32.1% (896 votes) to Bacon Shrimp's 20.2% (563), carried by the much larger crowd of voters with no country tag at all.
The race wasn't close after the opening days. The lead flipped three times by day 4, then Seafood Yum grabbed it on day 5 and held it, uninterrupted, for the next 184 days — its share just cooled, from a peak near 44% down to 32% at the finish. Women fueled that hold: 529 to 321 over men, the widest gender split of any option.
