In a Facebook poll of 4,735 respondents, 23.5% chose “A Origem (níveis)”. How we count
Ten posters crowded this ballot, and nothing close to a majority emerged. A Origem topped the field with just 23.5% of the vote — barely six points clear of Black Swan, with three more contenders (The Walking Dead, Harry Potter, Scott Pilgrim) all clearing 11%. This was a plurality win in a genuinely fractured field, not a mandate.
The geography sharpens the point: Brazil, the single largest bloc in the poll, actually leaned toward The Walking Dead — not the eventual winner. The United States, the next-biggest bloc, leaned Black Swan instead. A Origem's win was assembled from smaller pockets scattered across the field rather than from its own biggest audience.
- Plurality win · A Origem won with just 23.5% of the vote
- Brazil dissents · The largest country bloc backed The Walking Dead, not the winner
- Five-way scrum · Five posters each drew between 11.9% and 23.5%
- Gender skew · A Origem's voters ran 93 men to just 9 women
