Bea Santiago blew out the field on day one, up 42%, then vanished from the top spot by day two as Celina Nardo surged into the lead. Nardo held it through a full week before Kristina Marie Jose overtook her on day 8 — and from there, across all 89 days, the standings froze solid.
The finish was a near-dead-heat photo finish underneath a locked scoreboard: Jose edged Nardo by just seven votes, 4,237 to 4,230, both miles ahead of third-place Maria Isabelle Itchon at 1,802. Manila backed Nardo, the U.S. backed Jose — a hometown-versus-diaspora split that shaped the whole race.
