In a Facebook poll of 2,324 respondents, 75.5% chose “1-2”. How we count
Parents weren't split on this one. From the first day to the 217th, "1-2 registries" outpolled every rival option combined, bottoming out at 69% mid-poll and settling at 75.5% — 1,754 of 2,324 votes. "3-4" never broke 32%, and the extremes barely registered: 189 people made zero registries, 38 went overboard with more than four.
This wasn't a coalition splitting hairs — it was a rout with the same shape from open to close. Women drove the result (187 of the top option's identified votes to just 4 men), and it held across the map: every top country sampled, from the U.S.'s 142 votes down to single-digit entries from Canada, Malta, the UK and South Africa, leaned the same way. No fan-base effect either — this was a general audience's near-unanimous instinct.
- Floor never broke · 1-2 stayed at 69%+ support every single day of 217
- Gender lopsided · 187 women vs. 4 men picked the leading option
- Universal geography · Every sampled country, US to South Africa, leaned 1-2
