Limgas na Pangasinan 2014
In a Facebook poll of 5,651 respondents, 25.4% chose “2. Princess Khrista Q. Ventura – Sison”. How we count
Princess Khrista Q. Ventura of Sison never trailed. She opened with a commanding 31% lead over Alaminos City's Apple Joy Bacay on day one and held first place through all 12 days — but her cushion eroded steadily, sliding from 31% down to 25% by the close as Bacay's support kept chipping away.
The final tally: Ventura took 25.4% (1,433 votes) to Bacay's 16.2% (913), with Tayug's Mae Kathleen Salvaleon a distant third at 9%. Nearly all 5,651 votes came from real, non-fan voters — genuine hometown pride, not page-follower bias — and the Philippines anchored turnout while diaspora votes from the US, Canada, and the Gulf rolled in behind Ventura too.
- Wire-to-wire leader · Ventura led from day 1 through day 12 without interruption.
- Shrinking lead · Her margin over Bacay fell from 31% to 25% over 12 days.
- Real voters, not fans · Almost zero fan-page votes — this was organic hometown support.
- Global reach · Overseas Filipinos in the US, Canada, and UAE voted Ventura too.
